It can be said on the basis of hearsay that there was a religious Businessman Named Mannulal in this village, who built 51 Shiva temples in the village. The carving of the temple was amazing and adorable. Shivalingas of the temples were made of rare stones. The paints and carving of these temples, made centuries ago are still alive.

There was a time when people used to come from far away to see these temples. But onlookers are rare now.

Mnnulal shop is still located near the bank of Betwa River. There is a storehouse at top of the stairs . It is said that Mnnulal had pushed all the doors of the store house through the wall. It is a big and closed box of 40 feet long and 20 feet wide still situated near the bank of Betwa River. The villagers says that Treasury and the goods of Mannulal Businessman are placed inside it . But none body is sure.

The Shivlanga of these temples are Made of white stones under the dense forest. If we throw torch light on these Shivlings, It returns the shines of light for a while. It is supposed that there are diamonds inside the Shivlingas. So many Shivalingas are cut off by the greedy people. The Money digger often continues to dig here. Hundreds of rugged pit can be seen. These 51 temples only Pataleswar is worshiped in the temple. Because the maintenance of this temple is done by the the police station. The carving and built manner of  this temple is also amazing.
