Madan Pal Dauji

Akhtauha Situated near the Arjun bandh 8 km far from Charkhari head quarter.Madan Pal was born n this village on 1907.His father's name was Rasik Lal Mahto.Social service had shooted in his mind during his childhood.

He was the worker of Praja Socialst Group. Madan Pal Dauji had good relationship with Shri Pati Sahay Rawat and Deewan Shatrughan Singh.He played a meritorious role in election with Rani Rajendra Kumari.
He helped Rani by advertising her party.He was famous by the name of Dau Ji. He became lagislator of Mahoba in 1962. He granted ample economic help to Gandhi Inter College and B.N.B College Rath.He also played a loudale role in graam daan of deewan Shareughan singh.His another brother Dr. Nrapati Singh and Arjun Singh were good social worker.

Madan Pal Dauji died on a January 1971.His son Srawan Kumar Singh spent time in the post of secrety in block developement Charkhari and well-known for their honesty and activity. he also helped in the publication of "Samar Gatha" written by Bhawani Deen.
